In the continuing saga of wet weather issues the Binghamton Rumble Ponies are rained out tonight (Friday)in Manchester, New Hampshire. The games will be made up as part of  doubleheaders tomorrow (Saturday) beginning at 5:35 (air at 5:20 PM) on News Radio 1290 WNBF and on Saturday, June 24th.   This marks the sixth weather-affected game of the season and the third time the Rumble Ponies have been rained out in New Hampshire. The rainout percentage rate now is at 26 percent and at this rate the Rumble Ponies are on track for 36 rainouts over a 140 game schedule !

Heading into Saturday's twinbill the Rumble Ponies carry a record of 14-9 into action.  The Fisher Cats are 9-17.  Binghamton has won five straight games and embarks on what was to be and eight-game road trip now down to seven games.

Following Sunday series finale in Manchester the Rumble Ponies head to Portland for three more games next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.   Binghamton returns to NYSEG Stadium next Thursday, May 11th to host Akron at 6:35 PM.
