The Binghamton Rumble Ponies held a parade down State Street to Henry Street and on to NYSEG Stadium for tonight's opening game of their Eastern Division Championship Series against the Trenton Thunder.   Led by the Edward P. Maloney Memorial Pipe Band the parade formed at The Colonial on Court Street.  With a police escort Rumble Ponies' mascot Rowdy, owner John Hughes and Senator Fred Akshar were joined by a number of fans who followed the Pipe Band to the ball park.

Tonight's game is set for a 6:35 start and if you are unable to make it to the stadium you can follow the action on News Radio 1290 WNBF, on wnbf.com and with a free phone app on your smart phone. Trenton and Binghamton split their regular season meetings with each team winning three times in six contests.

The Rumble Ponies finished the regular campaign with eight consecutive wins.  Trenton won the division title by 6.5 games over second place Binghamton.   Corey Oswalt gets the start for Binghamton while Trenton counters with Dillon Tate.  Game two is set for tomorrow night at 6:35 at NYSEG Stadium.
