The Binghamton Rumble Ponies continue their series in Reading with a late afternoon doubleheader against the Fightin Phils.  First pitch is scheduled for 5:15 PM with coverage on News Radio 1290 WNBF beginning at 5:00 PM.  Heading into the twinbill Reading is tied for first place in the Eastern Division with the Trenton Thunder.  The Rumble Ponies are in fourth place and 2.5 games out of first.

In Monday night's meeting the Rumble Ponies pulled out a 3-2 win over the Fightin Phils.  Tommy Wilson was superb giving up just two hits in six innings of work.  Gavin Cecchini drove in the eventual winning run with an RBI double in the top of the eighth inning.

The Rumble Ponies continue to play well on the road.  They won three out of four games in Akron and have now won eight of their last ten contests on the road.  The teams meet in a day game tomorrow to close out the four-game series.
