The Binghamton Rumble Ponies went ten innings on Tuesday night to pull out a 2-1 victory over the Richmond Flying Squirrels at The Diamond in Richmond.  Andres Gimenez drove in Mike Paez with what proved to be the winning run in the tenth inning and Adonis Uceta got the win in relief.

With the win the Rumble Ponies upped their record to 28-18 while the Flying Squirrels fell to 17-30.  Game two of the three-game series is set for tonight (Wednesday) at 6:35 (air at 6:20 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  Binghamton ups its season road record to 19-8 and an overall 16-4 mark against teams out of the Western Division.

Following the series finale in Richmond on Thursday night Binghamton returns to NYSEG Stadium on Friday night to begin a weekend series against the Portland Sea Dogs.  The Rumble Ponies will then remain home for six more games against Harrisburg and Hartford.
