The Binghamton Rumble Ponies visit Hartford for three consecutive games starting Friday night and continuing through Sunday.  On Thursday night the Harrisburg Senators topped the Rumble Ponies  7-3 to take two out of three games in the series.

Binghamton's Barrett Barnes and David Thompson ripped solo home runs in the first inning but Harrisburg countered with back-to-back homers from Adrian Sanchez and Austin Davidson to tie the game at 2-2 after the first inning. Harrisburg had a three run third to move ahead 5-2 and never looked back.

Heading into the weekend series in Hartford  Binghamton has a record of 37-22.  The Yard Goats are 34-24.  The Eastern Division standings have Trenton on top by one-half game over the Yard Goats.  Binghamton and Reading are now tied for third place 1.5 games behind the Thunder.

Game time tonight is set for 7:05 with scheduled air time at 6:50 on News Radio 1290 WNBF.
