The Binghamton Rumble Ponies look for their second straight win over the New Hampshire Fisher Cats tonight (Wednesday) in Manchester.  Last night Binghamton topped the Fisher Cats 6-3 as David Thompson and Andres Giminez each had three hits.  Patrick Mazeika drove in three runs and Will Toffey hammered a two-run home run to pace the Rumble Ponies.  David Peterson earned the win as he pitched seven innings and gave up two runs  The win put Binghamton's road record at 24-12 which is the best in the Eastern League.

In tonight's action Mickey Jannis starts on the mound.  He is 2-1 coming into tonight's game.  For the Fisher Cats Zach Logue gets the starting nod.  He is 3-3.

The first half of the season officially came to a close at the conclusion of last night's contests.  The Trenton Thunder captured the first half championship.  Binghamton finished in fourth place at 34-29.  The Fisher Cats ended their first half in fifth place.

The teams finish the series tomorrow night in another 6:35 game.  Binghamton then returns to host  the Richmond Flying Squirrels on Friday night.
