Rumble Ponies in Portland For Day Game
Cloudy skies greet the Binghamton Rumble Ponies today (Saturday) in Portland, Maine when they meet the Sea Dogs at Hadlock Field. Last night Andrew Church kept the Sea Dogs at bay going 6.1 innings and allowing no runs as the Ponies earned a 5-1 victory.
Today, Nabil Crismatt gets the start for Binghamton. He is 3-1 this season with an ERA of 2.12. The Sea Dogs counter with Kevin McAvoy who is 0-1 with an ERA of 6.26.
Jeff McNeil continues to swing a hot bat for the Rumble Ponies. He went 1-3 and now has hit safely in ten straight games.
Tim Tebow had his first three-hit game as a Rumble Pony. Tebow is now hitting .261 with three home runs and 12 runs batted in. Peter Alonso continues to lead the Ponies in hitting with a .357 average along with eight home runs and 26 runs batted in.
The series concludes tomorrow with another 1:00 P.M. contest (air at 12:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF). Binghamton returns to NYSEG Stadium on Monday night for the start of a three-game series against Erie. All three games begin at 6:35 P.M.
