
Rumble Ponies in Hartford for Last Road Game Tonight
The Binghamton Rumble Ponies are in Hartford to meet the Yard Goats tonight at 7:05 (air at 6:50 on News Radio 1290 WNBF). This is the final road game for Binghamton this season. The Rumble Ponies return home for Labor Day weekend to finish the season with a four-game series against the Portland Sea dogs at NYSEG Stadium.
Tonight the Ponies send Nabil Crismatt to the mound against Rico Garcia. Crismatt is 8-5 with an ERA of 3.86. Garcia is 6-2. Binghamton is trying to rebound after a 6-2 loss to the Yard Goats last night.
This is the 18th meeting of the season between the two teams. Hartford has a commanding 12-5 edge in the series. Hartford has been dominating in the recent stretch with nine consecutive wins against the Rumble Ponies including seven in a row in the Yard Goats' home park.
Binghamton concludes its road schedule tonight and has a record of 28-40 on the road this season. The Rumble Ponies finish the season with a 1:05 P.M. game on Labor Day at NYSEG Stadium.
