Rumble Ponies Host Thunder in Afternoon Contest

The Binghamton Rumble Ponies are hosting the Trenton Thunder at NYSEG Stadium this (Monday) afternoon. The game is being aired on CBS Sports Radio 1360 AM. Going into today's game Binghamton has a one-half game lead over Trenton and Reading who are both tied for second place.

The Rumble Ponies have won two of the first three games in the series.

WNBF News/Roger Neel Photo Binghamton has won four of seven meetings with Trenton this season. Last night Anthony Kay won his fifth consecutive game as the Rumble Ponies topped the Thunder 6-2. Kay went 5.2 innings and gave up a pair of runs to earn the win.

Tommy Wilson starts for the Rumble Ponies as he makes his first appearance for Binghamton. He has been promoted from Class A St. Lucie where he was 4-2 with an ERA of 2.01. Opposing him is Trevor Stephen who is 0-2 with a 7.20 ERA.

The Rumble Ponies head out for three straight games against the Richmond Flying Squirrels. Start time for all three contests is 6:35.
