The Binghamton Rumble Ponies begin a three-game homestand tonight (Tuesday) when they host the Harrisburg Senators at 6:35 (air at 6:20 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  Binghamton enters tonight's contest with a second-half record of 22-25 in third place in the Eastern Division of the Eastern League and 6.5 games behind first-place Reading.

Harrisburg is in third place in the Western Division with a record of 19-23 and 12.5 games behind first-place Erie.  Harrisburg was the red-hot team in the first-half of the season.  The Senators were 42-28 and won the Western Division title.  They jumped out to a blistering 21-4 record to begin the season.

Kevin Smith makes the start for the Rumble Ponies and comes in at 2-0 with an ERA of 1.56.  Harrisburg counters with Jackson Tetreault who is 3-5 with a 4.60 ERA.

Binghamton begins a stretch of nine of the next 12 games scheduled for NYSEG Stadium.  With 28 games to go in the regular season the Rumble Ponies are home for 18 outings.  They close the regular season with nine straight home games.
