The Binghamton Rumble Ponies look to get tonight's home game at NYSEG Stadium in tonight despite heavy rains and thunderstorms that crossed through the area this (Thursday) afternoon.  It is the final meeting of the season scheduled between the two teams.

The teams split a doubleheader at NYSEG Stadium last night.  Harrisburg won the first game 4-2 and lost the nightcap on Patrick Mazeika's walk-off three-run home run by a final score of 5-4.  Mazeika continues his strong Binghamton season and now has 13 home runs and 60 runs- batted -in   He is third in the Eastern League in runs-batted-in.

In tonight's scheduled 6:35 game (air at 6:20 on News Radio 1290 WNBF) the Rumble Ponies send Mickey Jannis to the mound versus Harrisburg's Tyler Mapes. Jannis brings a 5-3 record into play while Mapes is 5-5.

Binghamton remains in the playoff hunt with a 23-26 second-half record.  The Rumble Ponies are 7.5 games in back of front-running Reading.  Harrisburg is 20-24 and 12.5 games behind Erie in the Western Division.
