The Binghamton Rumble Ponies are riding a four-game winning streak as they host the Altoona Curve tonight (Monday) at NYSEG Stadium at 6:35 (air at 6:20 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  The Ponies swept their weekend series against Reading and have upped their season record to 60-65.  Binghamton is in third place in the Eastern League's Eastern Division.  Altoona is 67-55 and in second place in the Western Division and only 1.5 games behind first place Akron.

Lefty Matt Gage is Binghamton's scheduled starter tonight against James Marvel of the Curve.  The Rumble Ponies' four -game winning streak is their longest since May 11-15 when they won five in a row.

Binghamton has not had an easy time of it against the Curve this season.  Altoona boasts a 6-1 record versus Binghamton heading into this series. The Curve won a three-game series against the Rumble Ponies in June at NYSEG Stadium.  Then Altoona took three out of four meetings in Altoona in late July.  The series is only set for two games with another 6:35 game on Tuesday night at NYSEG Stadium.
