The Binghamton Rumble Ponies are back in action tonight as they begin a three-game series in Harrisburg against the Senators at 6:30 P.M. (air at 6:15 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  The Ponies had an open date on the schedule yesterday after taking three out of four games from the New Hampshire Fisher Cats including a doubleheader sweep on Sunday.  The Rumble Ponies are 31-25 while Harrisburg is 27-27.  Harrisburg's parent affiliation is with the Washington Nationals.

The Rumble Ponies are now just three games behind first place New Hampshire in the Eastern League's Eastern Division.  Tonight is the first of six consecutive road games for Binghamton.  Following the stop in Harrisburg the Rumble Ponies head to Trenton for a three-game series this weekend.

Binghamton's scheduled starter tonight is knuckleballer Mickey Jannis.  He is 4-1 with an ERA of 4.37.  The Senators will send Brady Dragmire to the hill.  He is 5-2 with an ERA of 2.44.  Jannis was 0-3 against Harrisburg last season.
