For a change the Binghamton Rumble Ponies have a SCHEDULED day off and not one imposed by bad weather.  After splitting their doubleheader in Portland, Maine on Sunday the Rumble Ponies made the 12 hour bus trip to Harrisburg, Pa. for a three-game series beginning Tuesday night at 6:30 (air at 6:15 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).

Binghamton played six games in Portland after getting all three games in their first series there postponed due to rotten weather.  Heading into the off day today the Rumble Ponies are tied for first place in the Eastern League's Eastern Division.  Binghamton and the Trenton Thunder are both in with 16-10 records.

The Rumble Ponies face the team with the best overall record in the Eastern League in the Harrisburg Senators.  The Senators have been on fire, are the top team in the Western Division  and are off to a 23-6 start.  Equally impressive is their 12-3 home record.

Following three straight games in Harrisburg the Rumble Ponies return home for a weekend series against the Fisher Cats.  Game one in the series is set for Friday at 7:05 P.M.
