The Binghamton Rumble Ponies dropped an 8-5 decision to the Portland Sea Dogs at Hadlock Field in Maine last (Monday) night.  Casey Delgado started the game on the mound for Binghamton and took the loss.  Jacob Dahlstrand earned the win for the Sea Dogs.

Patrick Biondi ripped a home run for the Rumble Ponies who saw their record slide to 2-2.  Biondi's blast was the first home run in Rumble Ponies' history.

The teams meet at 6 PM tonight (5:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF in game two of the three-game series.  Mickey Jannis is the scheduled Binghamton starter.  He will be opposed by Kevin McAvoy for Portland.

The teams play the finale in the series Wednesday morning at 11 AM (10:45 on CBS Sports Radio 1360 AM).  The Rumble Ponies head to NYSEG Stadium for the home opener on Thursday evening at 6:35.  Team owner John Hughes and General Manager Jim Weed will discuss the preparation and festivities set for the home opener when they visit Roger Neel on First News on News Radio 1290 WNBF Wednesday morning.
