The Binghamton Rumble Ponies return home tonight to begin a four-game series with the Portland Sea Dogs at 6:35 P.M. (6:20 air on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  The Ponies had their five-game road winning streak snapped last night  (Wednesday) with a 2-0 loss at Akron. The RubberDucks scored the only runs in the game on a wiild pitch and a missed pop-up while Akron's pitching finally silenced Binghamton's bats.  In the first two games in the series the Rumble ponies rolled up 27 runs against RubberDuck's pitching.

Binghamton comes into tonight's home game with the Sea Dogs with a record of 9-5.  Mike Gibbons is the scheduled starter on the mound for Binghamton. The Rumble Ponies hold a one-half game lead over the Trenton Thunder in the Eastern Division.  The Sea Dogs have lost their last two games and are 4-11 heading into tonight's action.

Following the series with Portland Binghamton remains home for three games against the Akron RubberDucks.  The Ponies then head to Portland May 2 through 5 for their next road series.
