Robbery Trial Underway in Broome County Court
The trial is underway for an Endicott man accused in a string of robberies in the Village a little over a year ago.
22-year-old Ali Chandler is one of three suspects arrested for felony robbery after a person was held up in the parking lot of George Industries on South Page Avenue September 14 of 2017 and a cab driver was robbed by two men on Arthur Avenue a little over an hour later.
At the time, Police said the victims in both robberies were hurt but the extent of their injuries were not released.
A few days after the arrest of Chandler and 27-year-old Ramel Noel, who at the time listed no permanent address, 49-year-old Jocelyn Thornton was arrested. She was accused of helping Chandler and was found with a cell phone taken from one of the victims that she allegedly disposed of at a Kiosk business at the Oakdale Mall.
