Renovation of Old Endicott Boys & Girls Club Gets M&T Bump
The rehabilitation of the former Boys and Girls Club in Endicott is getting a boost from a Buffalo-based financial organization.
M&T Bank has announced a $20,000 grant has been given to support the work being done by the Children’s Home of the Wyoming Conference at the Southern Tier Community Center.
The Boys and Girls Club that abruptly closed in August of 2019 is being rehabilitated to offer after school programs, health and fitness, counseling and other opportunities for children and families. The first phase of the project is expected to be completed in the spring.
Current work involves improving the aquatics center, improving locker rooms and installing a rock-climbing wall while other projects have included the upgrade of the fitness center and recreation rooms.
