The red-hot Binghamton Rumble Ponies return home following a nine-game road trip when they host the New Hampshire Fisher Cats tonight (Friday) at 7:05 (air at 6:50 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  The Rumble Ponies just won seven of the nine road games and swept the Harrisburg Senators who had lost just six times in the first six weeks of the season.  Binghamton is tied for first place with Trenton in the Eastern Division and  now stands 19-10.

Michael Gibbons is getting the start for Binghamton.  He is 3-3 on the season.  The Rumble Ponies head into the weekend series paced in hitting by two batters over the .300 mark.  Barrett Barnes is 16-48 and hitting at a .333 clip.  Right behind him is Braxton Lee hitting .329 going 28-85.  On the mound Anthony Kay is 3-2 with an ERA of 1.47.  Friday's starter Gibbons is second on the team with an ERA of 2.78.
