The Binghamton Rumble Ponies play the middle game of their three-game series in Erie tonight (Wednesday. The game can be heard on News Radio 1290 WNBF with Tim Heiman calling the action.

Last night the Rumble Ponies scored two runs in the first inning and rode the outstanding pitching of Nabil Crismatt to record a 2-1 victory.  That puts Binghamton's record at 27-23.  Crismatt went 7.1 innings which is the longest outing for a Binghamton starting pitcher this season.

The Rumble Ponies have won five of their past six games putting them in third place in the  Eastern Division of the Eastern League.  The Seawolves enter tonight's contest at 18-32 and in sixth place in the circuit's Western Division.  Binghamton has defeated the SeaWolves eight times in ten meetings so far this season.

Mickey Jannis makes the start for the Rumble Ponies.  He is 4-1 with an ERA of 4.70.  For Erie the starter is Spencer Turnbull who is 2-5  with an ERA at 5.44.

The Rumble Ponies and Seawolves play the third and final game in the series Thursday morning at 11:05 A.M.
