After a pair of doubleheaders were washed out this weekend the Binghamton Rumble Ponies could not wait to get back on the field and do so on a rain free night.  The offense exploded on the Altoona Curve as the Ponies registered a 10-2 victory.  Binghamton banged out 13 hits including a Kevin Taylor two-run home run.  The win puts Binghamton's record at 19-13 and one game out of first place.  Altoona falls to 21-14 and still in first place in the circuit's Western Division with a record of 21-14.

Tonight knuckleball'er Mickey Jannis puts his 3-1 record on the line for Binghamton while Austin Coley at 1-1 starts for the Curve. Tonight's start time is 6:35 (6:20 air on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  The series concludes with a "Baseball in Education" game beginning at 10:35 AM tomorrow.  Several thousand elementary school students will be in attendance.  Binghamton then heads out on a seven game road trip visiting Bowie and Richmond.
