
Ponies Look to Top RubberDucks
The Binghamton Rumble Ponies close their series in Akron tonight as they meet the RubberDucks at 6:35 (air at 6:20 on News Radio 1290 WNBF). Following Binghamton's 4-3 win last (Wednesday) night the Ruble Ponies are 8-8 while Akron is 8-10. Corey Taylor earned the win while Alberto Baldonado picked up the save.
Tonight, Corey Oswalt gets the start for the Rumble Ponies. He is 1-2 this season and earned his win against Erie when the Rumble Ponies rolled to an 8-3 decision. Nick Pasquale starts for the RubberDucks. He is 1-1 this year.
Binghamton outfielder Kevin Taylor carries an eleven-game hitting streak into action tonight. He is now batting .364 which is ninth-best in the Eastern league.
After tonight's game the Ruble Ponies have an open date tomorrow and return home to host the New Hampshire Fisher Cats in a weekend series beginning at 7:05 Friday night. Binghamton remains home to host Portland for three straight next Monday through Wednesday at NYSEG Stadium.
