
Ponies in Harrisburg for Four in a Row
The Binghamton Rumble Ponies begin an eight-game road trip tonight (Thursday) in Harrisburg with a 7 PM contest (6:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF). The Rumble Ponies ended their brief homestand on Wednesday with a doubleheader split against the Akron RubberDucks.
Tonight knuckleballer Mickey Jannis makes the start for Binghamton. His is 6-4 with a 4.02 ERA. John Simms gets the nod for the Senators. He is 4-6.
The Rumble Ponies are 52-40 and in second place in the Eastern Division, 10.5 games behind the Trenton Thunder. The Senators are 38-57 and in sixth place in the Western Division.
Following this series Binghamton heads to Akron to play the RubberDucks in a four-games in three days series. The Rumble Ponies return home next Thursday night to host the New Hampshire Fisher Cats in a weekend series.
