The Binghamton Rumble Ponies remain home this weekend to continue their series against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats.  Last night the Rumble Ponies defeated New Hampshire 10-6 to up their record to 13-11.  The Fisher Cats fall to 15-9.  The game was delayed 1 hour and 49 minutes because of rain.  Tonight's (Friday's) game has also had its start time delayed due to a band of heavy thunderstorms moving through the region.

Binghamton's Peter Alonso, named the Eastern League's Player of the Month for April continues his torrid hitting.  He notched a single in last night's game to stretch his hitting streak to 11 consecutive games, best in the Eastern League. In the 11-game stretch Alonso has hammered 5 home runs, drove in 12 runs and is batting .500 !

Coming into Friday night the Rumble Ponies have won six of their last eight games including a 4-2 record on this week's road trip.  One highlight of Thursday night's game was a three-run home run from Tim Tebow. That was his second home run of the season and the first since opening night.

Live play-by-play coverage of Saturday's Rumble Ponies' game will be aired on CBS Sports Radio 1360 AM.  The move from News Radio 1290 WNBF is being done to facilitate critical transmitter tower repairs involving WNBF and WILD 104.
