The Binghamton Rumble Ponies start a four-game series with the Harrisburg Senators tonight at NYSEG Stadium.  The Ponies just finished a week on the road and ended with a a 7-5 victory over Hartford on Thursday night.

Mickey Jannis is Binghamton's starter in Friday night's contest.  He is 5-3 with a 4.17 ERA.  It is the 13th start of the season for Jannis.  He is facing the Senators for the second time this season.  He had a no-decision in 4.2 innings of work earlier this month in Harrisburg.  Austin Williams counters for Harrisburg.  He is 1-7 so far this season.

David Thompson continues his torrid hitting streak for the Rumble Ponies. Heading into Friday's action Thompson has hit safely in 12 consecutive games.

The Senators are 33-45 and are eight games out of first place in the Eastern Division.  Binghamton is 41-33 and seven games in back of first-place Trenton.

The Rumble Ponies host Harrisburg at 7:05 on Saturday evening, at 1:05 on Sunday afternoon and then have a 6:35 game on Monday night.  Long-time New York Met and Yankee Darryl Strawberry will be on hand to greet fans at a special VIP luncheon on Sunday.
