Ponies Continue Portland Swing
The Binghamton Rumble Ponies play game four in a five-game series tonight in Portland against the Sea Dogs. Game time is 7:00 P.M. with air on News Radio 1290 WNBF set for 6:45. The Rumble Ponies are coming off of an 11-inning 4-3 win yesterday over the Sea Dogs.
Tonight, All-Star Nabil Crismatt makes the start on the mound for Binghamton. Crismatt is 8-5 with and ERA of 3.61. Matt Kent opposes him for Portland. Kent is 5-5 with an ERA of 3.80. Yesterday's extra innings win puts the Rumble Ponies record at 4-2 when games go extras.
Binghamton starts the week with a record of 39-41 good for 4th place in the Eastern Division and eight games out of first place. Portland is 20 games under .500 at 30-50 and is 17 games out of first place.
The Rumble Ponies conclude their series in Portland on Tuesday night and return to NYSEG Stadium to begin a five-game series versus Erie beginning at 6:35 P.M. on July 4th.
