Authorities say 24-year-old Anthony Clancey of Vestal was arrested Monday afternoon after he allegedly threatened another motorist with a hunting knife.

According to state police, Clancey was taken into custody after a trooper was informed that an episode of road rage had just ended near CFJ Boulevard in Johnson City.

Investigators say during a dispute with the other driver, Clancey allegedly got out of his vehicle and threatened to kill the other person while brandishing the knife.

Clancey was charged with second-degree menacing and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Police say Clancey was ordered to appear in Johnson City village court on September 14.
