Police Find Drugs and a Gun in an Endicott Apartment
Two people face charges after the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force searched the home of a parolee on Garfield Avenue in Endicott January 30.
Authorities say they found 66 grams of methamphetamine, a loaded .9 mm semi-automatic handgun, Suboxone, marijuana, $900 in suspected drug sale proceeds and drug paraphernalia.
37 year old Devin Mandyck of Endicott and 30 year old Heather Shaffer-Rockwell of Towanda were arrested.
Mandyck is chargeD with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance, felony criminal possession of a weapon, misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of marijuana.
He was sent to the Broome County Jail.
Shaffer-Rockwell is charged with misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally using drug paraphernalia.
She was released and ordered to appear in Endicott Village Court at a later date.
