Binghamton Mayor Richard David and other toured the baseball stadium March 1 to get a look at progress on the $5.1 million renovation.

Crews were seen high above the Saint Patrick Parade staging area in the stadium parking lot March 2 working on the scoreboard.

Other improvements include a refurbished clubhouse, new stadium seats, transparent safety netting and mechanisms to keep birds from making their "contributions" to the ballgame experience.

Rumble Ponies Owner John Hughes is investing $100,000 in the project with $2.5 million dollars each in funding coming from New York State and the City of Binghamton.
