NYSEG Donates to Local COVID-19 Relief

New York State Electric and Gas is donating $300,000 to support emergency COVID-19 response and recovery efforts.

The donation includes $25,000 to the Community Foundation for South Central New York COVID-19 Response Fund.  

NYSEG has also contributed $3,000 to Broome County Office for Aging to help support the Meals on Wheels program.  Coordinator, Rita Fluharty says since the pandemic hit, Meals on Wheels has seen an over 50% increase in the number of meals it serves to the homebound.
