M&T Bank Fights Food Insecurity in Southern Tier
M&T Bank is announcing grants to a dozen Southern Tier nonprofit organizations that work to fight food insecurity in the region.
M&T is allocating $41, 200 dollars to groups that target families, children and seniors.
The company says figures from Feeding America project hunger will continue to grow in the region as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic with projected rates as high as 16.8% in Broome County and 16.4% in Chemung County.
