Local Businessman Remembered for His Commitment to Community
A local businessman man is being remembered for his support for such organizations as the Boy Scouts and Marines as well as being a solid fixture in Binghamton’s First Ward business district.
Joseph Kovarik Junior, Owner of Kovarik True Value Hardware, passed away Tuesday, February 23 at the age of 63.
An obituary placed by the family says Kovarik was known for his support for the community, even opening his store during emergencies and preparing the inventory to be able to handle those demands.
According to the notice, there will be no formal calling hours.
