Police confiscated an AK-47 assault rifle, cocaine and thousands of dollars in cash in an Endicott raid.

Authorities say a man and a woman were charged after the narcotics search warrant was executed at an apartment house at 215 South Loder Avenue. The property is located just south of Jennie F. Snapp Middle School.

In addition to the loaded assault rifle, four illegally-possessed high-capacity magazines were confiscated along with 2.8 ounces of cocaine and illegally-possessed prescription pills.

Investigators say they also found $5,830 in suspected drug sale proceeds.

Police say 48-year-old Daniel Farrell of South Loder Avenue and 44-year-old Amy Rezmerski of Binghamton were arrested.

Farrell and Rezmerski each face several felony weapon and drug charges. They were arraigned and ordered held at Broome County Jail.

The arrests were made by the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force.
