The Town Hall will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, beginning at 6 p.m. at the Village Hall located on 60 Lester Avenue, Johnson City, and is open to all Johnson City residents and community members.

The Town Hall is in partnership with Director of Public Works Joshua Holland. Mayor Charuk noted that the Town Hall will offer Village residents a unique opportunity to hear directly about how paving plans are developed, what factors influence timelines, and how infrastructure priorities are set.

This is about opening the door and making the process more understandable. There are a lot of moving pieces when it comes to infrastructure, and residents deserve the chance to see how it all comes together. When people have more information, it builds trust and leads to better conversations. This is an opportunity to sit down together, ask questions, and better understand both the challenges and the possibilities.- Village of Johnson City Mayor Christina Charuk

The Town Hall will be a discussion exploring how paving decisions are made, how projects are prioritized, and what goes into maintaining and improving Johnson City’s roads over time.

Mayor Charuk emphasized the importance of partnership in addressing infrastructure needs, and Village of Johnson City residents will have the opportunity to engage directly, ask questions, and gain insight into the systems that shape their day-to-day experience in the village.
