Johnson City Man Indicted in Baby Injury

Prosecutors say a Johnson City man is accused of causing a serious brain injury to his five month old daughter while the baby was in his care in September.

20 year old Ngozi Feuratdo has been indicted by a grand jury on a felony count of reckless assault of a child as well as possession of marijuana.

Authorities say the child’s head hit a hard surface after she allegedly was thrown.

The arrest followed a complaint filed to the New York State Child Abuse Registry.

Feuratdo faces up to seven years in New York State Prison for the assault charge.
