New York’s Favorite Fast Food Dessert Isn’t What You’d Expect
When it comes to sweet treats from fast food restaurants, one dessert stands above the rest. A new study found that McDonald's Oreo McFlurry is America's favorite fast food dessert. It was the most searched dessert in six states, more than any other item in the study.
Other Popular Desserts Made the List Too
Several other fast food desserts were close behind. Arby's Jamocha Shake and Subway's Footlong Cookie were each the most searched dessert in five states. Popeyes Cinnamon Apple Pie and Taco Bell Cinnamon Twists were favorites in four states. Other popular picks included Burger King's Hershey's Sundae Pie, Dairy Queen's Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Blizzard, and Wendy's Vanilla Frosty.
New York Chose Something Different
The most popular fast food dessert in New York was the Shake Shack Black & White Shake. That choice is a little surprising for many New Yorkers. Depending on where you live in the state, getting your hands on one may not be very easy.

Finding One Might Take a Road Trip
For many people in Upstate New York, the closest Shake Shack isn't around the corner. In fact, one of the most convenient locations for many travelers is at a New York State Thruway service area near the Finger Lakes Premium Outlets.
Do You Agree With New York's Choice?
The Oreo McFlurry may be America's favorite, but New Yorkers seem to have a different opinion. So what would you pick? A classic Frosty? A Blizzard? An Oreo McFlurry? Or does the Shake Shack Black & White Shake deserve the top spot?
