It’s Pony Time in Rumble Town Tonight
The Binghamton Rumble Ponies host the Erie SeaWolves tonight (Wednesday) in a July 4th game at NYSEG Stadium.
As part of the July 4th holiday celebration the Rumble Ponies will have a giant fireworks show following the game. The ball club is labeling it "Bing Bam Boom" and claim it will be the biggest fireworks show they have had so far this season.
Binghamton upped its record to 40-42 Tuesday night in Portland as the Rumble Ponies edged the Sea Dogs 2-1 behind stellar pitching from starter Justin Dunn. Dunn, the New York Mets number one pick in the 2016 draft, went 7.2 innings to earn his second win for the Rumble Ponies. Dunn Struck out nine Sea Dogs en route to his solid outing.
