Ithaca Driver Ticketed for Flashing Headlights

An Ithaca man is charged with failing to dim headlights and refusing to take a breath test following an incident on Route 13 in the Town of Virgil June 1.

Cortland County Sheriff’s officials say shortly 1:19 a.m. 48 year old William Hamm allegedly repeatedly flashed his vehicle high and low beams while approaching a marked Sheriff’s patrol vehicle as two vehicles approached each other from opposite directions.

The Deputy says it was determined Hamm was intoxicated.
