Cortland County Sheriff’s Office Looks for John Deere Rustler

Cortland County Sheriff’s officials are looking for a suspect in the theft of a farm tractor in the Town of Virgil.

The John Deere model 2940 tractor was taken overnight October 3-4.

Online prices for the equipment range from $8,200 to over $27,000.

The vehicle is two-wheel drive and is not equipped with an enclosed cab.

The theft happened on a farm on Daisy Hollow road.
