The Skating Community for Opportunities in Recreation and Enrichment (The S.C.O.R.E) held its 4th annual "Raise the Rink Golf Tournament and Block Party" at En Joie Golf Course in Endicott on Saturday.  Following the golf tournament organizers held a block party with food from Orlando's Catering and music performed by Rooster and the Roadhouse Horns.

A silent auction was also held as part of the fund-raising event.  Auction items featured a signed game jersey from Union-Endicott grad and Baltimore Oriole's closer Jim Johnson and a signed jersey from New York Ranger Captain Ryan Callahan.

The group's goal is to develop an ice rink and community center in Western Broome County.  As part of that goal the organization wants to provide an after-school skating program, a facility for ice hockey and recreational skating.
