A Town of Homer man is accused of driving drunk with a child under the age of 15 riding in the vehicle.

Cortland County Sheriff’s officials say 68 year old Matthew Klemm was pulled over at 7:19 p.m. July 8 on State Route 41 in Homer after he allegedly crossed over hazard markings.

He’s been charged with driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .08% or higher, aggravated DWI for having a child in the vehicle, DWI and driving across hazard markings.

The child was turned over to family members at the scene.

Klemm is to appear in Town of Homer Court later this month.
