Port Crane Man Accused of DWI at Almost 3X the Legal Limit
A Port Crane man is accused of driving with a blood alcohol content at almost three times the legal limit when Broome County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a vehicle driving erratically on Route 81 North at Route 88 East at 6:46 p.m. October 10.
38 year old Keith Malane was found in the vehicle stopped on the shoulder of the highway.
Sheriff’s officials say they measured Malane’s blood alcohol content at .23%.
He’s charged with aggravated DWI with a b.a.c. of over point-one-eight percent and misdemeanor DWI as a first offense.
He was ordered to appear in court at a later date.
