The 2016 Annual Southern Tier Heart Walk is set for Sunday, April 10 on campus at SUNY Broome.  The walk begins and ends at the Ice Center

Participants can register online at: southerntierheartwalk.org or on the day of the event. On-site registration gets underway at 9:00 AM. Individuals are invited to form teams and participate.   Opening ceremonies are set for 10:30 outside of the Ice Center.  Following the walk sponsor Subway and other donors will provide lunch.  The day's festivities conclude with closing ceremonies at noon.

The goal of this year's walk is $250,000.  Individuals who raise $100 or more will receive a souvenir American Heart Association T-Shirt.  Money raised goes to help in the fight against heart disease and stroke. WNBF's Roger Neel will do a live broadcast from the walk on the Sunday Polka Party with Steve Krall.
