Television news anchor Caroline Goggin was 27 years old when she suffered a stroke, just days after returning from her honeymoon in Italy.

Goggin became familiar to Binghamton TV viewers a few years ago when she worked for Action News on WBNG.

After leaving Binghamton, she moved to Rhode Island and was hired by WPRI.

Last September, Goggin married Travis Eldridge, who had been a sports reporter for WICZ and WBNG in Binghamton.

Things were going well until shortly after they got home from their honeymoon. She suffered a stroke on October 8.

Goggin and her husband have been through a lot since then. Now, she's sharing her story with viewers in Providence and with radio listeners in Binghamton.

LISTEN: Caroline Goggin discussed what's happened over the last few months during a live interview on WNBF Radio's Binghamton Now.
