Head-on Crash Closes Route 12 Between Norwich and Oxford
New York State Police are investigating a serious, head-on crash in Norwich.

Law enforcement, medical and fire crews were called to the scene of a /tractor trailer/ delivery truck crash on Route 12 in Chenango County that closed a portion of the road in the early morning hours September 6.

Chenango County Emergency Services officials say the two vehicles collided head-on between Route 32B and State Highway 220 between Oxford and Norwich at 4:40 a.m.
There had been early reports of serious injury.
New York State Police say the tractor trailer was engulfed in flames following the impact near Phetteplace Road in Norwich.
