Fire Damages Town of Union Home

Officials are looking into the cause of a fire that heavily damaged a home in the Town of Union and put firefighters from six departments into bitterly cold temperatures March 11.

The blaze on Oakdale Road brought out firefighters from Maine, East Maine, Union Center and Endwell.

Officials say water had to be brought in to the site by tanker trucks.

There were no injures.
