Endicott Sex Offender Sentenced

Eight years in prison is the sentence for an Endicott man who pleaded guilty to felony attempted criminal sexual act in connection with attempts to force a 15 year old girl into oral sex in the summer of 2012.

Under the plea deal, 41 year old Jared Hotaling will also be on probation for 15 years and has to register as a sex offender.

Hotaling could have gotten 10 years to life in prison had he been convicted of 10 felony counts, including predatory sexual assault against a child.

The Endicott man had been accused in a six count indictment for alleged incidents involving two girls and a boy that dated back to 2001.

Endicott Police arrested Hotaling in May of 2016 after a girl revealed incidents of alleged abuse.
