Endicott Firefighter Charged With Arson

Bob Joseph/WNBF News [file][/caption]An Endicott firefighter is in the Broome County Jail, accused of setting his own house on fire on August 10.

New York State Police say the 2:30 a.m. fire on East Main Street was quickly put out and ruled suspicious.

Everyone inside got out safely but there was damage to the first floor of the house.

December 1, 41 year old Jason Stokes of Vestal, who owns the East Main Street house, was charged with arson.
