The office at 137 Washington Avenue is scheduled to open for business on Monday morning.

County employees spent the past week moving equipment from the previous DMV site, which was located in a building across the street from the new location.

Deputy county clerk Darlene Croston said workers were busy Friday making final preparations at the new site.

Croston said some work is not expected to be completed until early Monday morning. She said multiple vendors have been involved in assisting the county workers in the move.

Nine employees work at the Endicott DMV office.

Broome County last year agreed to lease the new site from Tierno Development LLC of Johnson City for $31,500 a year. The lease runs for five years.

County records show Tierno Development purchased the property for $35,000 in March 2016.
