A man described as a career criminal will be spending ten years in prison for robbing two Village of Endicott employees at gunpoint on May 23rd.

The Broome County District Attorney’s Office says 41 year old Santonio Jones was found guilty in November of two felony counts of robbery and was sentenced as a two-time violent felon.

Authorities found the weapon used in the May robbery on North Street was a BB gun that was recovered along with the stolen money minutes after the hold-up.

The DA’s office says Jones’ previous criminal history includes armed robbery, drug possession, grand larceny, forgery, assault, aggravated drunk driving and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
